What are AI credits?

An "AI credit" is a measure of usage. Each request in CodePortal costs ~10 credits, except for the first generation which costs ~30 credits. We provide an estimate before you send your request.

Makers vs End Users

In CodePortal, we distinguish between two types of users:

Makers

Individuals who create and manage projects within CodePortal. They have full access to:

Creating new apps
Modifying existing apps
Managing data structures

End Users

Users of the apps and tools created by Makers. They:

Interact with finished products
Don't have access to development features

Our pricing model reflects this distinction, allowing you to scale your team of Makers and your End User base independently based on your specific needs.

What are workload units?

Workload units meter the total amount of compute used by your tools. It is calculated using this formula:

Workload units = 2 * (DB Rows Read / 10000 + DB Rows Written / 10 + Requests / 5)

We came up with this formula to balance the pricing model and the workload model. If you have any questions, please reach out to us!
